Botswana and Zambia
Visiting Botswana has been mind blowing. From the Chobe to the Okavengo Delta to the Kalahari, the number of animals and the diversity has been incredible. From staying at Pangolin to Downey and Ker properties with a private camp and chef and staff just for us was really amazing. What I have enjoyed most is that I feel that we have glimpsed Africa before the many visitors that we often see elsewhere. We have been one of two or three vehicles in the conservancies, and have witnessed some of the most amazing animal sightings and beauty yet. Each trip has been uniquely exciting. We've seen the Delta flooded and other times so dry. We had multiple lion sightings, and other years an abundance of Leopards. The beauty is that we are visiting the animal's homes, whether they are nesting, splashing in the water, or roaring as the sun comes up.
Zambia, specifically South Luangwa National Park is known for the largest concentration of Leopards in the world. In addition the preponderance of Wild Dogs, Elephants, birds and other wonderful creatures made our 2026 trip one of wonder and excitement.
