FALL IN THE TETONS   September 22-27, 2024

The spectacular Tetons along with numerous wildlife sightings and the reduced crowds make this an ideal time to visit Grand Teton National Park and the town of Jackson, Wyoming.    In particular this time of year brings beautiful colors to the mountains.   Autumn is in the air.    We have an all day private tour with Eco Tours Adventures of Jackson, the premier outfitter in the Tetons.   We have nearly five days of photography in the stunning Grand Teton National Park.  In the past 17 years I have made over 30 trips to the Grand Tetons and can’t wait to share the beauty of this park with each of you.   At this time of year, bears are loading up on berries for the harsh winter, Elk are in rut and Moose are evident in the park.   We may see Eagles or foxes.   Who knows?   It is always an incredible adventure!
I am honored to have you join me on this boutique photography trip, and allow me to share my passion for this incredible park.

This is an all inclusive adventure, once you have arrived in Jackson on September 22.   Your lodging at The Alpine House, all meals, tips,

JH Eco Tours, guiding and transportation are included.  Minimum 4, maximum 6 people.  If you are interested, contact me via email at Karen@WildernessAtHeart.com  for further details.

This trip will be a combination of both landscape and wildlife photographic adventures. We will see the beautiful spring grasses and light dusting of snow on the Tetons and potentially Moose, Elk, Beavers, Bear, foxes and many other critters in the area. The young are just emerging from burrows, dens and nests. It is Spring in the Tetons! This is an all inclusive trip once you have arrived in Jackson, Wyoming on May 21. From your lodging at the SpringHill Suites to your meals to transportation and guiding to an all day private tour with JH EcoTours, all is included. This trip is for a minimum of 4 and maximum of 6 people, and fills early. If you are interested, contact me via email at Karen@WildernessAtHeart.com.

NEW Adventures Coming Soon!

2024 BOTSWANA! April 25-May 6, 2024.    FILLED
This luxury trip is designed for photographers. We will be spending 5 nights at Pangolin Lodge, which is near and dear to me! The lodge is dedicated to photography. There are classes available in between morning and afternoon safaris. The boats are designed for photography with chairs that swivel 360 degrees with heads to mount your cameras that makes it a joy to photograph on the water. The guides are knowledgeable about the animals AND how to take pictures, and where the best positions are to get the shots!   In addition, there is a hide that can be used to photograph animals at the watering hole at the Pangolin Lodge!
We are staying for 4 nights and Downey and Ker Shindi Footsteps, with safaris twice a day. The lodge is rated 5 stars and is again aware of the needs of the photographers! Located in the Okavango Delta, we will experience a Mokoro cruise, similar to the original dugout canoes, but made of fiberglass.
The last lodge is Dinaka which includes bird hides and of course, daily safaris. It is located in the Central Kalahari and is also rated a 5 star lodge. Known for the wonderful variety of animals including the famous Kalahari Lions, Cheetahs, and even Wild Dogs. The hide is located on a watering hole that is popular with many animals. It is a bunker style hide in which you are at eye level with the visitors to the hole!

Your 5 star lodging, meals, drinks, guiding, in country charter flights with increased weights of 25K is all included for $14,500 a person, double occupancy. Not included are International airfares, tips, visas, traveler's insurance, laundry, and items/gifts of a personal nature. This pricing is truly an excellent value and timing is perfect for seeing animals in comfortable weather without the abundance of crowds.
If you are interested, please reach out to me by email or phone (310.213.8065) as soon as possible. This trip will be limited to 4 people and myself.   A 50% deposit is required to hold your spot, and the balance is due 2 months before we go. Because these lodges are in such high demand with limited space, we can only hold the rooms until June 26, 2023 which means that your commitment with deposit is required as soon as possible.
